The login form of your website is the first impression a visitor gets upon arrival. Therefore, you should ensure that the login experience is seamless. It will help you build a loyal customer base and increase retention.
There are still websites with poorly designed login forms. They lack functionality and appear dull and repulsive.

The Good
The login design has a clear title with proper labelling of username and password. It also has a call to action with a signup button for new users. If you look at the background image, a neat drawing is there to help users focus on the task. It offers help for a forgotten username and password. Moreover, the form is neatly aligned on the page without any flashy banners and promotions.
Overall, the form seems user-friendly and is a perfect example of a good login design.
The Bad
The first thing users will see is the colour pink stabbing their eyes. It is painful to watch it momentarily, let alone fill the login page. The white text is also hard to read since it has blended in the strong background. Poor readability raises red flags over the website.
Apart from a bad appearance, the login page does not have any recovery options if you forget the details. Moreover, there is no signup link for beginners to make an account. Login is also misspelt as “Log-in”
While it is not one of the worst designs, it is nowhere near good enough.
The worst
At first glance, the form doesn’t look complete. There is no proper labelling done, which gives it a dull look. No help is offered in case a user forgets their username or password. It is an example of the worst of designs you can come across.
The designer may have tried to keep it simple but compromised the user interface significantly. The overall appeal of this form is nowhere near good.
Bottom Line
Plenty of login forms doesn’t offer help to recover an account if a user forgets any detail. People have multiple email addresses with different passwords, so it is good to assist them in login forms.
